Ukrainian consulates for U.S. Virgin Islands

The U.S. Virgin Islands are in the consular district of the Embassy in Washington, as its booking pages say. A visit means flying to the mainland.

Checked against the official pages on 22 October 2026. How we check.

Which Ukrainian consulate serves the U.S. Virgin Islands?

The U.S. Virgin Islands is on the district list that the Embassy’s consular section in Washington publishes on its own pages (source, in Ukrainian), so that is the office for the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Birth and marriage records in the U.S. Virgin Islands for a Ukrainian office

In the U.S. Virgin Islands, the CDC’s directory sends birth certificate requests to the Department of Health’s Vital Statistics office at Charles Harwood Memorial Hospital, in St. Croix, at St. Croix, VI 00820, for $15.00 a certified copy (CDC, Where to Write for Vital Records).

Its note on those records reads: “Registrar has birth records on file since 1840”.

For a marriage registered in the U.S. Virgin Islands, the directory sends requests to “Territorial Court of the Virgin Islands” (CDC, Where to Write for Vital Records).

A Ukrainian office takes a U.S. birth certificate with an apostille and a notarized Ukrainian translation that carries its own apostille, put on after the certificate’s and not on the same day (source, in Ukrainian).

The HCCH list of U.S. apostille authorities names none for the U.S. Virgin Islands. Before you send a document issued there, ask the Embassy’s consular section in Washington which certification it accepts (source, in Ukrainian).
